Venue

RYManila2024 will take place at University of the Philippines Diliman, which is located at Barangay UP Campus Diliman Quezon City. For information about how to get to the conference venue, please go to the Conference Program page.

The first day of the conference, composed of the keynote address and plenary talks, will be held at NISMED Auditorium, located on Quirino Avenue, while the second and third days will be held at Palma Hall, situated on Roxas Avenue.

Paper Presentation

Keynote and plenary speeches will be 40 minutes long.

For parallel sessions, presenters will be given 20 minutes each to present their papers and 5 minutes to answer questions from the audience.

Internet access

Some rooms will be given free wifi access; but if possible, buy SIM cards at the airport upon arrival in case you want to have an internet connection all the time.

Safe Space

The conference aims to be a safe space and will adhere to the Safe Spaces Act implemented in the country following the anti-harassment policy of the Association of Computational Linguistics.

Weather update

It is already the amihan (northeast wind) season in the Philippines so the weather will be relatively cool. However, please expect occasional rain showers and, at times, very hot and humid weather during daytime. It’s a good idea to pack an overcoat and umbrella just in case.
